Mrs. Woneta Louise McGill, age 81, of Chatsworth, passed away on April 23, 2025 at AdventHealth Murray.

Woneta loved her family and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James McGill; parents, Hurdis and Ruby Weaver; brothers and sister-in-law, Eugene Weaver and Billy Mac and Sue Weaver; sister and brothers-in-law, Dayle and Rickey Hughes and Ray Kelley.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Pamala and Daniel Harness of Chatsworth and Debbie and Jeff Douglas of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alfred and Nathalie Weaver of Chatsworth, Doyle and Brenda Weaver of Chatsworth, Timmy and Gloria Weaver of Chatsworth, and Rickey Weaver of Calhoun, GA; sister, Bonnie Kelley of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Jennifer and Josh Stone, Jamie Harness and Ethan Lederer, Jake Douglas, and Shelby and Adam Holley; great-grandchildren, Max Pacheco, Dani Stone, Josie Holley, Coy Holley, Hanes Holley, and Addy Kate Douglas; extended family members also survive.

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Woneta Louise McGill will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Peeples Funeral Home on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
