Mr. Walter Douglas "Doug" Weaver, age 80, of Chatsworth, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 on the front porch of his beloved home.

Doug was known by many in the community for being the owner of E & D Insulation for over 30 years. He was also a faithful member of Faith Worship Center for 25 years. He enjoyed working on his farm with his cows and chickens and seemed to be most happy while on his tractor. The only thing that made him happier was spending time with his family, especially the ones that knew him as Grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Stewart Weaver Jr. and Viola Camilla Weaver; brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Dimple Weaver; sisters, Jerolene Gray, Barbara Weaver, Wanda Weaver, and Kathy Greeson; special nephew, Brandon Gibson; special niece, Wynelle Paige.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Ann Weaver of Chatsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Jennifer Weaver of Chatsworth, Woody and Connie Stuck of Chatsworth, and Greg and Rita Thompson of Gray, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherrie and Tim Griffin of Ellijay, GA and Michelle and Mitchell Vineyard of Chatsworth; grandchildren and their spouses, Allison and Ross Davis, Carson Weaver, Anna Grace Weaver, TJ and Kristen Griffin, Katie Griffin, Jacob Griffin, Taylor Griffin, and Amber and Andrew Miles; great-grandchildren, Lily Griffin, Lincoln Griffin, Lexie Griffin, and Clay Miles; nephew and great niece, Micah Gibson and Chloe Gibson; niece and her spouse, Amanda and Mike Winkler; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Margaret and Dewitt Smith, George R. Maitland, and Bill and Kathy Maitland; many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Walter Douglas "Doug" Weaver will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Worship Center with Rev. Craig Marlow, Rev. Vince Goble, and Mr. Eric Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery.

Those chosen to serve as pallbearers are Tim Griffin, TJ Griffin, Jacob Griffin, Nathan Herriman, Carson Weaver, Ross Davis, Andrew Miles, Micah Gibson, and Woody Stuck.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
