Mrs. Velma Lynn Campbell, age 79 of Chatsworth, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Pruit Health.

Velma loved to sing, read, cook, play cards, and watch her two birds, Joy and Roy

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Campbell; son, Vince Campbell; father, Grover Cleveland Varnadoe; mother, Margaret Ann Spires; brother, Andy Varnadoe; nephew, Alan Varnadoe; sister-in-law, Anna Campbell.

Survivors include her son, Brian Campbell of North Carolina; brother, Kenneth Varnadoe of Tampa, FL; grandson, Justin Campbell; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Malone; niece, Lisa Campbell Reagan; nephews, Rodney Campbell, Steven Varnadoe, and Carl Varnadoe; great-nephews, Carl Campbell and Ryan Campbell; great-nieces, McKayla Reagan and Victoria Reagan.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Velma Lynn Campbell will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Minister Amy Ferree Krupinski officiating. Interment will follow at Greasy Creek Cemetery.
