Mrs. Thelma Barton, age 93 of Chatsworth, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her residence.

Thelma was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Barton; parents, Homer and Delanie Coker; brothers, Robert Coker and Ed Coker.

Survivors include her son, Grady Barton of Chatsworth; sister, Beulah Couch of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Nichole Barton Townsend; great-grandchildren, Addie Townsend and Tate Townsend; cousin, Irene Bryant; special niece Freda Stone; nephews, Ted Couch, Randall Coker, Danny Coker, and Nathan Coker.

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Thelma Barton will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
