Mr. Terry Chad "Chop & Bubba" Blanchard, age 47, of Chatsworth, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Chad loved baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. Chad really loved all sports, which is why SportsCenter was a favorite. Other than sports, he enjoyed spending special time with his dad and mom watching The Price is Right.

When we think of Chad, we smile, laugh, and think of all the precious memories. As a child, Chad kept us on our toes with his fun, often mischievous ways. Oh, the Chad stories we have! As an adult, Chad was kind, loving, and a special friend to so many. Almost every day was spent eating breakfast with his crew at Pleasant Valley, where he shared lots of laughs and made precious friendships. Chad always made those around him feel special. As many say, "Chad was just simply a nice guy."

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to Hamilton Medical Center's SICU nurses, Sabrina, Kylie, and Kim, for their kind, loving care of Chad and our family.

We will miss Chad, but he is in Heaven with Jesus, where he knew beyond a doubt he would be.

Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bennie Thomason, Hoyt Blanchard, Mary Emma Blanchard, and Dorothy Marie Blanchard.

Survivors include his parents, Terry and Dianne Blanchard of Chatsworth; sister, Britani Blanchard of Chatsworth; grandfather, Gene Thomason; nephews, Gunnar (Alexus) Silvers and Jaxon Snowden; extended family also survives.
