Mr. Steve Thomas Foster, age 68, of Chatsworth, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Emory University Hospital.

Steve was a die-hard Atlanta Falcons fan. He was known as a sign painter, history buff, and music lover, but most of all he was known as a devoted husband and father.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth Foster; father and mother-in-law, Clarence Jr. and Pauline Ridley; brother, Leon Foster.

Survivors include his loving wife, Diane Foster of Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, Eric Foster and Jenna Schramm of San Francisco, CA; sister, Katherine Shelton of Dalton, GA; best friend, Mitchell Harper; honorary family members, Sherri Keener and Shane Ridley; nieces and nephews, Aaron and Tyler Ridley, Chris and Patrick Foster, Derrek Foster, Seth and Chad Ridley, Renae Cameron, and Cindy Turner; brothers-in-law and spouses, Doug and Carla Ridley, Tommy and Theresa Ridley, and Michael Ridley; beloved dogs, Scooter, Bobo, and Lyn; beloved cat, Desmond.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Steve Thomas Foster will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating.

A livestream of the service will be available on the Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory Facebook page .

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (230 East Ohio St, Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60611).
