Mrs. Stella R. Jones, age 66, of Chatsworth passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at her home.

She attended Eton Chapel.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Oscar and Frankie Lyles, and several siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Junior Jones; daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer Rodgers of Chatsworth and Debbie and Lon Acree of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Rosie Jane and Boyd Osborne of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Gabrielle Rodgers, Joseph Rodgers, Emileigh Smith, Jensen Rodgers, Flannery Hughes, Anna Holcomb, and Ammelia Beasley; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas Davis, Nataleigh Davis, Rosaleigh Smith, Landon Hughes, Elijah Hughes, Harper Holcomb, Henry Holcomb, Hattie Holcomb, and Heidi Holcomb.

A service for Mrs. Jones will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Peeples Funeral Home with Pastor William Linn officiating. The family will receive friends after the service until 7:00 pm.
