Mrs. Sheila Gayle Flood, age 70, of Chatsworth, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

"With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother whose life was a true blessing to all who knew her. She was the heart of her family, a steady source of love, strength and wisdom, known for her funniest personality, quick wit, the way she could make anyone laugh without even trying, and her presence filled every room with warmth and grace. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured, the love, humor, strength and the values she instilled, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and devotion."

Mrs. Flood is preceded in death by her mother, Mandy Ellen Miles; and sister, Barbara Rogers.

She is survived by her husband, David Flood; sisters, Betty Davenport and Linda Jones; brother, Eddie Miles; sons, Scott Witherow and Marty Flood (Melissa); daughter, Brittany Banks (Tony); grandchildren, Blake Hammontree (Kolby), Caitlin Winkler (Dylan), Bailey Witherow (Kenzie), Bronson Bowen (Haley), and Brooklyn Mauldin; great-grandchildren, Blaklee, Bella, Indy, Beckham, Rylenn, Jackson, Huntley, and River; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping and honoring her wishes, the family will gather privately to honor and celebrate her beautiful life.
