Mrs. Sarah Lou Morgan Albertson, age 78, of Ranger, GA, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at her home.

Sarah was a member of The Well Church in Murray County. She loved her family, church, arranging flowers, and baking treats for her family, friends, and neighbors. Sarah also had a special place in her heart for cats. She retired from Kroger after many years of service working as a florist both in Calhoun, GA and Dalton, GA. She will be missed by many who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. and Pauline Morgan.

She was joined in death by her loving husband, Richard "Big Rick" Albertson.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Leann Godbee of Calhoun, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Tony Abernathy of Crandall, GA, Kandice and Thomas Burnett of Hampton, SC, Aimee and Josh Parker of Crandall, GA, and Lindsey Albertson and Josh Gardner of Diller, NE; sister and brother-in-law, Robbie and Wayne Lovett of Islandton, SC; grandchildren and their spouses, Brett (Elizabeth) Burnett, Morgan (Douglas) Lawrence, Blake (Esther) Burnett, William (Brooke) Godbee, Andrew (Lyndsay) Godbee, Joshua (Emily) Abernathy, Jordan Abernathy, Cayden Abernathy, Lane Abernathy, Domnick Joseph, Hunter Crowe, Gavyn Crowe, Eli Parker, Emma Parker, and Ellie Parker; 9 great-grandchildren; extended family also survives.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sarah Lou Morgan Albertson will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Abernathy and Mr. William Godbee officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
