On Saturday morning, September 16, 2023, Sandra took her last breath here on earth and entered her heavenly home, surrounded by her children at AdventHealth in Chatsworth.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dalton, throughout her life she was a cosmetologist, she owned her own children's resale store, and volunteered with several local hospice groups.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Hazel Quarles Langford; in-laws, Arthur and Cynthia MacFadden; husbands, Gaylord Neal MacFadden Sr. and John McCarley; sister-in-law, Sue Langford; brother-in-law, Ross MacFadden; nephew, Jon Langford; grandson, Nathan Braddy.

Survivors include her daughters, Mitzi (Ricky) Reed of Chatsworth, and Tammy (David) Manly of Dalton, GA; son, Mac (Shea) MacFadden of Cohutta, GA; brothers, Larry Langford and Danny (Cindy) Langford; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Wilson, Holly (Matt) Rice, Haley (Buddy) Pack, Cody (Dusty) Manly, Rylee Hennessee, Laura Manly, Benjamin MacFadden, Shawn (Lori) Reed, Deanna (Joe) Casey, Ashley Blalock, and Zach Reed; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Caleb, and Noah Wilson, Katelyn and Luke Wallace, Branson Joyce, Mackenzie Reed, Harper Blalock, Elaina Pack, Magnolia Manly, and Renly Gunn; brother-in-law, Gaylord Carney.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Sandra MacFadden McCarley will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of First Baptist Church of Dalton.

The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the church on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga, TN (200 Central Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403) or to First Baptist Church of Dalton (311 N. Thornton Avenue, Dalton, GA 30720).
