Mr. Samuel Everett Russell, age 83 of Chatsworth, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Mr. Russell was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ruby Rose Russell; parents, Arthur Thomas and Mary Hickey Russell; grandson, Heath Blaine Cochran; 5 sisters; 3 brothers.

Survivors include his children, Victor W. Russell of Duson, LA, Angie R.M. Crowe (Lorne A.) of Chatsworth, Tina L. Stutes (Timmy) of Broussard, LA, and Rhonda Lynn Gordon (Sam) of Chatsworth; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rena White (Kelly) of Inglewood, TN.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Samuel Everett Russell will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Cool Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors provided by the American Legion Post #167.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
