Mr. Samuel Travis Manley, age 67, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away April 9th, 2025 at Murray AdventHealth in Chatsworth, GA.

Travis was a superintendent at Meco Builders in Chatsworth, GA, for 30+ years. He was a devoted and loving husband and father.

He is preceded in death by his daughters, Taron Manley Mantooth and Shana Manley, birthparents; Ida Mae (Williams) Manley and Martin Manley, & adoptive parents; Eldis and Buddy (Stopper) Smith; his sister & brother-in-law, Judy Manley Bagley and Ronnie Bagley, brother: Craig Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sherry Bagley Manley, sisters and spouses; Brenda Dyer, Sharon & Gerald Vineyard, Susan & Mike Padgett, Shena Smith, brother; Tony Smith, sister-in-law; Peggy Smith, sister and brother-in-law; Linda & Butch Hefner. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Samuel Travis Manley will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Winkler and Mr. Jeff Caylor officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
