Mr. Samuel "Chris" Lewis, age 59 of Chatsworth, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Erlanger Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Syble Hogan Bowers; father, Leonard Lewis; father-in-law and best friend, Frank Walker; nephew, Jimmy Lee Jenkins.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sheri Walker Lewis of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Meghan and Matt Land of Dalton, McKensi and Sean Vaughn of Dalton; granddaughter, Kennedy Brooklyn Land; grandson, Camden Hogan Vaughn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susie and Jimmy Phillips of Chatsworth, Vickie and Tony Long of Chatsworth; mother-in-law, Gwendolyn Walker of Chatsworth; sisters-in-law, Nancy Walker of Chatsworth, Lisa Walker (Roger Presley) of Chatsworth; brother-in-law, Eric Walker (Christy) of Dalton; nieces and nephew, Whitney Walker, Courtney Walker, Stasha and Brandon Wright; great-niece Grace Walker; and great-nephews, Brody and Cade Wright.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Chris Lewis will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 6:00pm from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Ridley and Jimmy Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:30pm until 6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peeples Cancer Institute.
