Sam Julian Coffey

Mr. Sam Julian Coffey, age 84, of Crandall, GA, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Julian was a member and deacon at Cisco Baptist Church. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and had a strong love for his country. His hobbies including fishing, hunting, and spending time working outdoors. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Coffey and Jennie Mae Kendrick Coffey; his brothers, George Edward Coffey. Allen Coffey, Terry Coffey, and Larry; and his brother-in-law, Bob Coker.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Henrietta Ann Hooker Coffey of Crandall, GA; his son and daughter-in-law, Brent Julian Coffey and Amanda Hope Coffey of Chatsworth; his daughters and sons-in-law, Holly Lynn Tallent and Alan Tallent of Crandall, GA and Stacey Ann Simpson and Clay Simpson of Chatsworth; his sister, Linda Carol Coker of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Heather Tallent, Brook Bivens, Josh Tallent, Ryan Young, Jacob Sturgill, Austin Coffey, and Brady Coffey; and his great-grandchildren, Addison Bivens, Elijah Bivens, Sawyer Coffey, Waylon Coffey, Wellie Coffey, Harper Sturgill, Murphy Sturgill, and Amos Young; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Sam Julian Coffey will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairy Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
