Mrs. Ruth Jones, age 94, of Chatsworth, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at AdventHealth Murray.

Ruth was a member of Spring Place Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dock and Jennie Dill; husband, Ray Jones; daughters, Dianne Tallent and Beverly Fouts; son, Lonny Jones; sons-in-law, Jimmy Thompson, Lamar Tallent, Neal Fouts, and Mike Chitwood; granddaughter, Theresa Lynn; grandsons, DeWayne Lynn and Nathan Shipman; great-grandson, Lachlan Beck; brothers, D.A. Dill, John Dill, and Randall Dill; sisters, Mae Thomas, Ruby Manis, and Annah Sampson.

Survivors include her daughters, Nadine Foster of Chatsworth, Alicia Chitwood of Chatsworth, and Celeste Dempsey of Chatsworth; numerous grandchildren; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruth Jones will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. David Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
