Mrs. Ruby Dayle Hughes, age 71, of Chatsworth, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at her home.

Dayle was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Chatsworth.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hurdis Weaver; mother, Ruby Weaver; brothers, Bill Weaver and Eugene Weaver; loving husband of 50 years, Rickey E. Hughes.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Stephne Hughes of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doyle and Brenda Weaver of Chatsworth, Timmy and Gloria Weaver of Chatsworth, Ricky Weaver of Calhoun, GA, and Alfred and Nathalia Weaver of Chatsworth; sisters, Bonnie Kelley of Chatsworth and Louise McGill of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Evan Hughes and his wife, Emily Hughes and Hanna Hughes and her fiancé, Daniel Diaz; great-grandson, Easton Rickey Hughes; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruby Dayle Hughes will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
