Mr. Roy Christopher Stevens age 59 of Dalton, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Mr. Stevens was one of 3 children born on the same date 2 years apart. He was a man that enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors.  But more than anything, he loved his family and spending time with them especially the grandchildren.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by a son, Dean Lee Stevens; parents, Richard Eugene Stevens, Sr. and Rebecca Jane Stevens; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hillard A. Smith and Elease C. Smith;

Survivors include wife Adrienne Anita Smith Stevens of Dalton; sons, Chris Stevens (Ashley Rankin) of Tunnel Hill, and David A. Stevens of Marietta, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Camellia and Doug Johns of Ringgold, Cynthia and Chris Cuc of Dalton, Robin Szabo of Zainesville, OH, Cassandra Needham of Port St. Joe, FL; brothers, Richard E. Stevens, Jr. Panama City, FL, Randall Stevens of Dalton, and Russel C. Stevens of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Brooklyn and Gracelyn Debuc of Chandler, AZ, Bear Stevens, Kinsley Rankin, Allen Slaton, and Alyssa Stevens; in-laws, Anna M. Smith of Chatsworth, Michael G. Smith, Tim Smith, of Chatsworth, Cindy and Morgan Riddle of Chatsworth, Crystal Reyes of Dalton, Andy A. Smith of Dalton, and Denise and Kevin Brown of Whitesburg, KY; uncle and aunt, Kenneth Ray and Mona Stevens of Resaca, GA; nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Stevens will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Pierce officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
