Mr. Roy Allan Hawkins, age 74, of Crandall, GA, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at his home.

Allan had a big heart and was always putting others before himself. He enjoyed working on his trucks and on the farm and also spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Winfrey Hawkins and DeEtte Mae Hawkins.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Hawkins; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Ashley Hawkins of Cohutta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lecia and Tony Hudson of Crandall, GA; grandchildren, Brandi and Adam Steelmon, Blakeli and Payton Swilling, Conor Lowe, and Tripp and Turner Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Tavyn and Tayte Steelmon.

Funeral services for Mr. Hawkins will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Poteet officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
