Ronnie Alton Stephens, age 77, of Chatsworth passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021.

As a pastor for over 45 years, Ron was passionate about making Jesus known to others and dedicated his life to serving the Lord. He was devoted to his wife of 55 years, Susie, and was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Ron served in the United States Army Airborne Division.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Martha Stephens, and daughter, Heather Stephens Houle.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Gwendolyn "Susie" Stephens; daughters and son-in-law, Sherryde and Joel Southerland and Missey Waters; son-in-law, Gary Houle; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wade and Phyllis Stephens and Brian and Lynn Stephens; sister and brother-in-law, Faith and Ed Gillespie; grandchildren, Savana and Trey Dunn, Mikayla and Josh Garrison, Bailey Waters, Stephen Houle, and Jordan Houle; and great-grandchildren, Jaxton Garrison, Judson Garrison, and Lukas Dunn.

A private memorial service will be held at Peeples Funeral Home.
