Ronnie Southers, age 69, of Chatsworth passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at his home.

He was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Hooper Southers; brothers and sisters, Barbara and Bob Wallis, Wanda Torres, Kathy Porch, Glenn Southers, and Kenny Southers; and sister-in-law, Pamela West.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Melissa Southers of Chatsworth and Jeremy and Sarah Southers of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Randy Hulett of Crandall; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brent and Marilyn Hooper of Chatsworth, Dwayne and Tracey Hooper of Chatsworth, Dan and Rita West of Dalton, and Charlotte Keener of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Drew and Joe Strother, Madalyn and Jonah Southers, Jaden and Gabriel Southers, and Amy, Kaden, and Bentley Hulett; and several dear cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Southers will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Southers, Rev. Curtis Easley, and Rev. Lamar Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
