Mr. Ronald Leon Chambers, age 79 of McCaysville, GA, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at his residence where he lived with his granddaughter, Kendra and Daniel Baggett.

Ronald was of the undenominational faith. He loved working in his garden, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie B. Chambers; parents, Claude and Pearl Chambers; brothers, Benny Chambers, Walt Chambers, Bobbie Chambers, J.E. Chambers, Mitchell Chambers, and Frankie Chambers; sisters, Ruth Painter, Ethel Carr, Myrtle Williams, and Katherine Dunn.

Survivors include his sons, Ronnie Chambers of Chatsworth and Lamar Chambers of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Chris Tuck of Douglas, GA, Wanda and Chad Sprayberry of Ringgold, GA, and Sharon Pope of Blue Ridge, GA; sister, Joann Brummett of TN; grandchildren, Kendra and Daniel Baggett, Corey and Haley Chambers, Keith Chambers, Ashley Nix, Stephen Nix, Erica Brewer, Rachel Clay, Caitlin Payton, Taylor Payton, and Ethan Palmer; 16 great-grandchildren; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ronald Leon Chambers will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Lands officiating. Interment will follow at the Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
