Mr. Robert "Bob" Penley, age 78 of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy.

Robert was happily married for 56 years; he was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Lena Penley; sisters, Willie Stephens, and Ellen Ingram.

Survivors include his loving wife, Wanda "Pat" Penley of Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Beverly Penley of Chatsworth; daughter and special friend, Samantha Weaver and Douglas Shepherd of Dalton; granddaughters, Taylor Penley and Candace Weaver Hetrick (Kevin); grandson, James Weaver; special caregiver, Claudette Thomas; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert "Bob" Penley will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Hill officiating.  Interment will follow in Casey Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.
