Mr. Robert Larry Cockburn, age 76 of Crandall, GA, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at his home.

Larry was a member of Fairy Valley Baptist Church. He loved singing and going camping.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Brian Cockburn and Anthony Cockburn; father, Clarence Cockburn; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rosia and Tom Caylor; infant sister, Janice; special brother-in-law, Bennett Langham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward Nichols, Billy and Wanda Larmon, and JoAnn Self; nephew, Glenn Nichols; niece, Becky Forester.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Rita Cockburn of Crandall, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Bruce Suddeth of Crandall, GA; grandson, Brandon Chastain of Crandall, GA; mother, Ruby Cockburn of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Tammy Cockburn of Dalton, GA; special sister-in-law and caregiver, Peggy Langham of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Robin and Rex Bryant of Dalton, GA, Yvonne Nichols of Cisco, GA, Janice Scott of Chatsworth, Cecil Self of Dalton, GA, and Lloyd Scott of Chatsworth.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert Larry Cockburn will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, and the American Heart Association.
