Mr. Rickey E. Hughes, age 66, of Chatsworth passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, at AdventHealth Gordon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Opal Hughes, and sister, Joan Picklesimer.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby D. Hughes; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Shawn and Stephne Hughes; brother, David Hughes; and grandchildren, Cody E. Hughes (Emily) and Hanna Hughes - all of Chatsworth.

A livestreamed service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, on the Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory Facebook Page with Rev. Lamar Beason officiating. No public services will be held at the funeral home. Mr. Hughes will be laid to rest at Center Valley Cemetery.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, social distancing and masks are encouraged. No food or drinks will be allowed inside the funeral home.
