Mr. Richard "Big Rick" Albertson, age 74, of Ranger, GA, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at his home.

Rick was of the Lutheran faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Albertson; mother, Muriel Albertson; sister, Karen Holmes; brother, Merle Albertson.

He was joined in death by his loving wife, Sarah Lou Morgan Albertson.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Aimee and Josh Parker of Crandall, GA and Lindsey Albertson and Josh Gardner of Diller, NE; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Frank Wentland of Pequot Lakes, MN, Donna Allen of Spokane, WA, Lois and Bob Hazeltine of Spokane, WA, and Vic Holmes of Rathdurm, ID; grandchildren and their spouses, Hunter Crowe, Gavyn Crowe, Eli Parker, Emma Parker, Ellie Parker, Brett (Elizabeth) Burnett, Morgan (Douglas) Lawrence, Blake (Esther) Burnett, William (Brooke) Godbee, Andrew (Lyndsay) Godbee, Joshua (Emily) Abernathy, Jordan Abernathy, Cayden Abernathy, Lane Abernathy, and Domnick Joseph; 9 great-grandchildren; extended family also survives.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Richard "Big Rick" Albertson will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Abernathy and Mr. William Godbee officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
