Mr. Richard Dale Peacock, age 81 of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life on March 11, 2025 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was born on February 19, 1944, the son of the late Bill and Inez Peacock.

Richard was a member of Faith Worship Center. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending every spare moment he could in the woods hunting or on the water reeling them in.

Richard was one of kind. He had a personality that was larger than life. He loved to make people laugh and never met a stranger. He was a master storyteller, and because he lived his life to the fullest, he always had his next great story to tell. Richard left a mark on the hearts of everyone he knew and he will be dearly missed by those who love him.

Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Ashe Peacock; daughter, Maggie Melissa Lawson; brother, Mac Peacock; sister, Debra Peacock Long.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell (Telina) Peacock and Richard (Brooke) Peacock; grandchildren, Heather (Jimmy) Pence, Maegan Lynn, Madison Peacock, Morgan Peacock, and Bobbie Peacock; great-grandchildren, Kadence Bagley, Daylon Massengile, James Massengile, Mariah Gregory, Grayson Pence, Dixie Hamilton, and Emerie McIntosh; brother, Billy Peacock; sister, Joan Peacock Burgess; lifelong special friend, WD Baughman; several nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive.
