Mrs. Rhoda Eunice Ensley, age 85 of Chatsworth, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at her residence.

Rhoda greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Arlie George Ensley; parents, Doyle and Reba Burk; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Phyllis Ensley; son-in-law, Cecil Carter; brothers, Glen Burk, Thorton Burk, Tommy Burk, and Amos Burk; sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and George Anderson; brother-in-law, Charles Seabolt; sisters-in-law, Adel and Cindy Burk; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl Sr. and Tressie Ensley; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Nora Ensley and Ronnie Ensley; niece, Scarlett Burk.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Tommy Bryant of Dalton, GA, Lois Carter of Dalton, GA, and Charlotte and Carl Rittenhouse of Chatsworth; daughter-in-law, Gail Ensley of Ringgold, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny Burk, Frank Burk, Joe and Lou Burk, Lucas and Darlene Burk, and Willie and Wanda Burk; sisters and brother-in-law, Ann and Ralph Hammontree and Alice Seabolt; grandchildren, Tommy Jr. and Amy Bryant, Austin Bryant, Lacey and Matthew Nicholson, Holly and Jason Addis, David Miller, Jacob and Brittany Miller, Karen Fuller, George Carter, Patrick Carter, Ariel Jenkins, Matthew and Jessica Rittenhouse, and Rebecca and Shawn Long; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn and Jared Bryant, Natalie and Faith Nicholson Alexis and Samuel Addis, Madison Miller, Wyatt and Kolbie Fuller, Noble Carter, Dante Jenkins, Kelbie Rittenhouse, Hank Usrey, Zoe Wright, Layla and Makenna Long, Braeden, Gavin, and Gage Miller, Hunter and Colbey, Drake, Waylon, June, and Madilyn Miller; great-great-grandchildren, Emerson Miller; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Perry Ensley, Carl Jr. and Marcia Ensley, and Janie Ensley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Ronnie Hammons and Beverly and Steve Layman; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Rhoda Eunice Ensley will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00am from Lifegate Church with Rev. Bruce Edwards and Rev. Steve Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
