On Monday, August 28, 2023, Reba Crane Adams, of Hixson, TN went home to be with the Lord.  Born on January 28, 1933, in Chattanooga, Reba was a devout wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Rev. Jack Adams.  Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Cheri & Bob Monroe of Hixson, TN, Jan & Greg Baird of Atlanta, and Pamela & Eric Keyes of Chatsworth, GA; brother & sister-in-law Jim & Nancy Crane; grandchildren, Gregory Brandon Baird, Adam Baird, Chris & Kristin Keyes, Aaron Keyes, Jack Keyes; great-grandchildren, Eva Baird, Collin Baird, Liam Baird, Ivey Baird; nieces and nephews.

As a teen, Reba began attending the North Chattanooga Church of God.  She was a devoted Christian and member of the Church of God for over 70 years.  As a pastor's wife, she co-labored faithfully alongside her husband for over 60 years in ministry.  During their time together, they pastored the following Churches of God: Hamilton & Xenia, OH; Midland, MI; Village, Winter Haven, FL; Valley View, Sylacauga, AL; Harlan Park, Middletown, OH; Central Parkway, Cincinnati, OH; Salisbury Parkway, Salisbury, MD; and Kenosha, WI.  In addition, Reba served in Ladies Ministries on various boards and committees on the local, state and national level.  Reba was multi-talented and could wear many hats – church organist, Bible teacher, charismatic speaker, fund raiser, counselor and confidant.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 31.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.  Rev. Greg Baird and Rev. Adam Baird will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.
