Ray J. "Towmotor" Osborne, age 81, of Chatsworth passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at his home.

He was of the Baptist faith and loved to work with tools, especially on lawnmowers.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Monroe Osborne; mother, Mary Elizabeth Carroll Osborne; brothers, Robert, Floyd, Jimmy, and Herman Osborne; sisters, Sarah Nell Singletary and Mary Bell Peterson; and sons, Ray and Donald Osborne.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Nancy Osborne; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Angela Osborne of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and David Wimberley of Chatsworth and Angie and Doug Agan of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Rhetta Osborne of Loganville, GA, and Frankie and Louise Osborne of Cave Spring, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Annie Duren of Tifton, GA, Dottie Randall of Nashville, GA, and Martha and Paul Howard of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Brianna Collum (Justin), Jordan Hall, Austin Wimberley, Kristan Haught (Greg), Cameron Osborne, Ashley Mountcastle, Nathan Spears (Jennifer), Stephanie Spears, Jacob Mays (Makayla), Haley Witt (Cameron), Lexie Agan, Wayne Agan (Crimson), and Jessica Jenkins (Vince); great-grandchildren, Bryleigh and Maisy Johnson, Judson Collum, Waylon and Jocelyn Hall, Memphis Manis, Xander Searles, Kaitlyn, Audrey, and McKinley Jenkins, Hadley and Camden Witt, Mallie and Jaxon Mays, Landyn and Declan Agan, Wesson, Capri, and Mason Osborne, Waylon and Paisley Mountcastle, Daisy and Peyton Spears, and Elizabeth, Logan, and Lance Rasar; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Osborne will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2021, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Bingham officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm.
