Ray Bruce

Mr. Ray Bruce, age 69, of Dawnville, GA, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026, at his home.

Ray loved hunting, fishing, and farming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C.W. and Blanche Bruce; and his great-grandson, Jackson Bruce.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Joyce Bruce of Dawnville, GA; his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Stephanie Bruce of Dawnville, GA; his sisters, Linda Brogdon of Dawnville, GA, and Phyllis Bruce of Dawnville, GA; his grandchildren and their significant others, Haley Blake and Brandon Pierce, Hunter Bruce and Kinze Ponders, Cali Bearden, Victoria Bearden, and River Bearden; his great-grandchildren, Sophia Blake, Kyndall Gibson, and Scarlett Bruce; his special fur baby, Missy Bear Bruce; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ray Bruce will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home, with Rev. Timothy Parker and Rev. Frank Cronan officiating. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
