Polly Rymer, age 70, of Chatsworth passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was an employee of Mohawk Industries for over 45 years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Waymon Rymer; second husband, Tomis Rymer; father, McKinley Townsend; mother, Bertha Townsend; daughter, Sabrina Rymer; and sisters, Beedie Holt and Alice Tanksley.

Survivors include her daughter, Novalee Rymer of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond Townsend of Chatsworth, Roscoe and Marynell Townsend of Dalton, and Colman and Sarah Townsend of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Cleo Reed of Dalton, Jackie Owens of Chatsworth, Claudell and Jay Green of Chatsworth, and Wanda Tillman of Chatsworth; special lifelong friend, Shirley Goble; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rymer will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 24, 2021, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Bowen and Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
