Mrs. Peggie Lee Flood, age 85 of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at LaFayette Health Care.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Flood; daughter, Lisa Flood; sons, Jeffery Flood and Donny Flood.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-law, Ricky and Josie Flood of Chatsworth, David Flood of Chatsworth, Randy and Vickie Flood of Kimball, TN; daughters and son-in-law, Maxine and Jackie Allen of Resaca and Carolyn McKinney of Resaca; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jr Patterson of Chatsworth, Ray and Pat Patterson of Chatsworth, Earl and Minnie Patterson of Chatsworth, Virgil Patterson of Chatsworth, William and Odeassa Patterson of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Lucy Jones of Chatsworth and Mamie and Herbert Betterton of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Tiffany Southern, Hope Mays, Lynn Flood, Timothy Allen, Joshua Allen, Isaac Flood, Stephanie Flood, Niki Flood, Brenda Miller, Darrell Flood, Paul Flood, and Kelly Stanley; many great-grandchildren; extended family also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Peggie Lee Flood will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Brother Carson Scarbrough officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
