Mrs. Pamela Sue Beckman, age 79, of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at her home.

Pam enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and reading. If a newspaper or magazine were in her sight, she was reading it. For many years she was a homemaker, raising six kids and helping on the dairy farm. Later in life, at the age of 46, she graduated with her associates degree and was a licensed practical nurse (LPN) where she provided the most genuine care to the residents of the nursing homes she worked for. Pam was an amazing cook. From her homemade chicken and noodles to her delicious chocolate pie, family and friends raved about the food and meals she made.

She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Beckman; grandson, Alejandro Xance Martinez; parents, Charles and Nellie Courtney; brothers, Don Courtney, Darrell Courtney, and Jerry Courtney; sister, Betty Swick.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Beckman of Calhoun, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Barbara Beckman of Connersville, IN, Andy and Tanya Beckman of Centerville, IN, and Todd and Stacy Beckman of Sugar Valley, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Nathan Knapp of Brookville, IN, and Trisha and Benjamin Dames of Severn, MD; grandchildren, James Beckman, Jacen Beckman, Jessica Beckman, Brennan Beckman, Hanna Beckman, Tristan Beckman, Kylee Beckman, Mason Beckman, Kasey Knapp, Madilynn Wishon, Austin Baggett, Reagan Dames, Reid Dames, and Brenna King; 4 great-grandchildren; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Pamela Sue Beckman will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dawnville Community Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to The Amedisys Foundation .
