Mrs. Nellie Mae Rogers, age 81, of Resaca, GA, passed away on January 10, 2024 at Calhoun Healthcare Center.

Nellie loved her family and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Dye and Georgia Barnett; four sisters; and four brothers.

Survivors include her husband James H. Rogers of Resaca, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Clark and Mary Anne Rogers of Resaca, GA, John and Anne Coolidge Rogers of Douglasville, GA, Clinton and Leigh Kennett of Calhoun; sister, Susan Betts of Trion, GA; grandchildren, Abigail Rogers, Emma and Clayton Rice, Mason Kennett and Wayln Kennett; many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Nellie Mae Rogers will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Rocky Green officiating. Interment will follow at Casey Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
