Mrs. Nellie Marie Ensley, age 96, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at AdventHealth Murray.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Freeman and Gussie Chambers; children, Carl Rice, Edith Marie Lawson, James Charles Ensley, and Sylvia Annette Welch; siblings, Little Betty, F.H. Freeman, Kermit Chambers, Gracie Henry, Freeda Jones, and Edward Chambers.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Danny Ensley of Chatsworth, GA and James Ensley Jr. and April Ensley of Chatsworth, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Ensley of Chatsworth, GA, Linda and Roger Briggs of Chatsworth, GA, and Brenda and Randy Deal of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Zona Posey of Chatsworth, GA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Nellie Marie Ensley will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Pastor Austin Houston officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive at the funeral home on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
