Myrtle K. Brown, age 90, of Chatsworth passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

She was a member of Old Time Way Baptist Church and loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Myrtle was the cornerstone of her family and deeply cherished the moments that they spent together.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Frank Brown; son, Terry Brown; infant daughter, Linda Brown; parents, Seaburn and Jesse Mae Silvers; and eight siblings.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Paul D. Brown (Rebecca) and Bruce Brown – all of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Paula McWhorter (Trey) of Ringgold; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Brown; grandchildren, Kim Carter, Kevin Brown, Casey Brown, Taylor Brown, Nathaniel Brown, Nicholas Brown, Kaytlyn Young, Christopher Brown, Eric Whaley, and Jacob McWhorter; several great and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Scotty Baker officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
