Mrs. Mildred Hammontree Ingle, age 88, of Chatsworth passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her home.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Ingle; mother, Lucille Hammontree; sisters, Virginia Ballew, Louise Chatham, and Annabelle Pritchett; and brother-in-law, Billy Pritchett.

Survivors include her son, Michael Ingle of Winston-Salem, NC; daughter, Susan Ingle Daniel of Chatsworth; grandchildren and their spouses, David and Misty Bowman, Seth McKinney, and Sara and Nick Lyles; great-grandchildren, Madison Talley, Macie Bowman, Luke Lyles, Ellie Lyles, Connor Lyles, and Liam Lyles; great-great-grandchild, Ezra Talley; extended family; and special caregiver, Oneka Boyce.

A memorial service for Mrs. Ingle will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Chaplain Jamie Ellis officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 pm until the service begins at 7:00 pm.

As well as flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund or to the Charles "Judy" Poag Murray County Senior Center.
