Mrs. Mildred G. Atkins, age 84 of Dalton, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Richard Horn; parents, Walter and Kate Standridge; sisters, Carolyn Henderson, Katherine Patterson, and Christine Goforth; brother, Dennis Standridge.

Survivors include her children, (Sissy) Sharon Duncan, Russell and Karen Horn, (Hoppy) Jeff and Tammy Horn, and Roland McKinney; grandchildren, Gary Duncan, Shannon and Stanley Lytle, Timothy Horn, Rhonda and Zack Bandy, Nikki Murray; great grandchildren, Logan Horn, Jada Lytle, Shelbie and Sadie Bandy, Brady and Carter Murray; sister, Barbara and James Bloodworth, Sue Goforth, Evelyn Rymer, Linda Standridge; brothers, Willard Standridge, Robert and Katy Standridge, Carlos Standridge, David and Elaine Standridge; extended family also survives.

Cremation services have been provided by the funeral home, and no public services are planned at this time.
