Mr. Melvin Dills, age 80, of Chatsworth passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Dills; parents, Jesse and Ellie Dills; grandson, Josh Woodard; and sister, Ann Hightower.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda Williams, Donna and Andy Peters, and Wanda and Terry Walden – all of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Carol Dills of Beaverdale, Danny and Martha Dills of Chatsworth, and Tony Dills of Chatsworth; sister, Wanda (Nell) Jackson of Dawnville; grandchildren, Brandon Woodard, Kayla Woodard, Sarah Fugate, Drew Peters, Hannah Pence, Ashley Stepp, Dustin Fowler, and Adam Walden; and great-grandchildren, Jaden, Skylar, and Jase Fugate, Zoey, Kynal, and Grace Jenkins, Hunter Fowler, Carson, Nevin, and Pondlee Pence, Ashton, Khloe, and Braylynn Woodard, and Andrew and Corey Peters.

The family will receive friends at Peeples Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
