Melissa Dawn Bearden, age 46, of Chatsworth passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Emory University Hospital.

She was a member of Holly Creek Baptist Church.

Melissa was preceded in death by her grandparents, L.A. and Inez Foster.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Bearden; daughters and son-in-law, Morgan Holmes and Molly and Houston Bowers – all of Chatsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Jameson and Ashley Bearden of Chatsworth and Luke and Kara Bearden of Dublin, GA; mother, Arlene Noland of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Tonja and Stefan Puryear of Chatsworth and Jessica Lewallen of Dalton; grandchildren, Ashlyn Southerland, Grayson Bearden, and Brooks Bearden; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Beneta Bearden; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Scott and Paula Bearden.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bearden will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Holly Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
