Mr. Marshall Lee Dill, age 76 of Chatsworth, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at his home.

Marshall was a member of Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Dill; mother, Mary Cooper; brothers, Charles Dill and Alvin Dill; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy Glenn and Betty Rorex; brother-in-law, Jimmy Wilson.

Survivors include his loving wife, Elizabeth Dill of Chatsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and April Dill of Dalton, GA, Larry and Merlin Jones of Rockmart, GA, and Buddy Jones of Rockmart, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and John Souther of Villanow, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Norris and Renee Garner of Dalton, GA, James and Shirley Garner of Chatsworth, Mike Garner of Dalton, GA, and Bryan and Jackie Dill of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Vickie Dill Bookhardt of Villanow, GA and Teresia and Steve Bass of Resaca, GA; grandchildren, Jarrett and Brooke Slaughter, Garland Jones, Nick and Tammy Souther, Taylor Jones, Tiffany and Zach Hunt, Kelly Jones, and Charles Kelley; great-grandchildren, Savannah Cabrerra, Emilee Ptak, Landon Souther, Madylen Ptak, Hudson Souther, Owen Souther, Kolby Hoang, Ethan Slaughter, Lillian Jones, Margot Hunt, and Jaylen Baggett; special great-grandchild, Rilee Jones; special friends, Cal Lookabill and Barney.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Marshall Lee Dill will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Tarvin and Rev. John Souther officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
