Maria Elena Meza

Ms. Maria Elena Meza, age 71, of Chatsworth, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Gordon Health & Rehabilitation.

Maria was a devout Jehovah’s Witness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Lopez and Maria Meza; her brothers, Raul Lopez, Rafael Lopez, and Rudolfo Lopez; and her sister, Araceli Romero.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Francis R. Aguilar of Chattanooga, TN, and Luis E. Aguilar and Sadie Aguilar of DeKalb, IL; her daughter and son-in-law, Maytte and Luis Gonzalez of Chatsworth; her brother, Francisco Lopez of DeKalb, IL; her sisters and brother-in-law, Martha and Javier Ramirez of DeKalb, IL, Sylvia Perez of El Paso, TX, and Clara Lopez of DeKalb, IL; and her grandchildren, Ian Gonzalez and Olivia Aguilar; extended family also survives.

A memorial service to honor the life of Ms. Maria Elena Meza will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Chatsworth.
