Mrs. Margie Fay Newport, age 90, of Chatsworth, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025 at AdventHealth Murray.

She was a member of Faith Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Newport.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Mary Newport, Roger Newport, and Johnny Newport; daughters and son-in-law, Shelby Martin and Brenda and Chuck Crooke; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Ann Morris; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Margie Fay Newport will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 12:00pm from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Burson officiating. Interment will follow at Faith Worship Center Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
