Mrs. Margaret "Marge" Louise Dixon, age 81, of Crandall, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at her home.

Margaret was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She loved her family dearly and was known for cooking biscuits and gravy for them! She and her husband were together for over 60 years, and she lovingly cared for him and their home. Margaret's favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren, and she enjoyed many activities with them, including playing Rook cards and teaching them how to make biscuits and gravy. She worked many years for the Murray County School System as a custodian at Northwest Elementary, where she was known by the teachers and students as "Miss Marge." Margaret loved the Lord and declared that He was her Savior.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Verlan and Alberta Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Gail Whitener; sister-in-law, Jean Smith; sister-in-law, Carolyn Baynes; and brother-in-law, Derl Swilling.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Eugene Dixon; daughter and son-in-law, Regina and John Glass; grandchildren, Megan and Jack Maki and Cameron Glass; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Lamar Morgan; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Hazel Smith; sister-in-law, Faye Swilling; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Peeples Funeral Home on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Following the visitation, private interment will be held at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
