Mrs. Louise Jean Hawkins, age 88, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Miss Hawkins was a proud Baker of her Hungarian heritage, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, a native of Detroit, Michigan, and a lifetime resident of Dalton, Georgia. She will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny W. Hawkins of Chatsworth; daughter, Patricia A. Hawkins of Dalton, Georgia; and her son, L. Todd Hawkins.

Survivors include her daughters, Tina M. Babb of Dalton, Georgia, and her son, Jonathan T. Babb; Heather E. Hawkins Mendoza and son-in-law, Tony R. Mendoza of Dalton, Georgia, and their daughters, Heather A. Mendoza of South Carolina and Holly J. Mendoza of Tennessee; and Laura and Donald Hamlin of Chatsworth.

Cremation services were provided by Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory.
