Mrs. Hattie Louise Caylor Deal, age 100, of Crandall passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2021, at her residence.

Louise loved going to church and had been a member of Calvary Baptist Church from the age of 13. She also loved cooking, gardening, and making new friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Deal; father, Clint Caylor; mother, Melissa Parker Caylor; brothers, William Eli (W.E.) Caylor, James David (Red) Caylor, and Edgar Cecil Caylor Sr.; and sisters, Esta Green, Jessie Dunn, and Maggie Bright.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Julian and Barbara Deal of Acworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Jimmy Casson of Old Fort, TN; sisters, Ruth Turvey, Margaret Mynes, Patsy Campbell, Wilma Caylor, Betty Bradt, and Brenda Davidson; grandchildren, Kelcey S. and Tonya Casson of Chattanooga, TN, Gavin L. Casson of White Salmon, WA, Susan Blount of Lillian, AL, and Jeff Shinholster of Lillian, AL; grandchildren through love, Zach and April Timms of Crandall; great-grandchildren, Kayleah Casson and Britney Logan; great-grandchildren through love, Jozie and Delilah Timms; great-great-grandchild, Lily Shelton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Louise Deal will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 11:00am at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Chastain, Rev. Curt Thomason, and Rev. Marcial Pavon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Peeples Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. She will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until 11:00am.
