Mrs. Loretta Brown Howard, age 65, of Chatsworth, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at her home.

Loretta was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her son, Zach Brown; her parents, Cecil and Mary Lee Brooks; her former husband, Chuck Brown; and her brother, A.C. Brooks.

Survivors include her husband, James David Howard of Chatsworth; her sisters, Helen Bradley, Betty Manis, Ethel Allmon, Reba Brown, Barbara Brown, and Teresa Howard; her brothers, Billy, "Sonny" Brooks, and Jackie Brooks; and her mother-in-law, Doris Brown; as well as extended family.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Loretta Brown Howard will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Ranger, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm.
