Lora Ruth Wright-Cresap

Mrs. Lora Ruth Wright-Cresap, age 78, of Chatsworth, Georgia, went to be with our Lord on October 16, 2026.

Lora was an amazing woman with many accomplishments throughout her life. To her, the greatest of these were her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Soppy” Cresap; her parents, Homer and Lois Langford; brother, Ricky Langford; grandson, Ian Wright; niece, BreAnn McFarland; and best friend, Barbara Davis; brother-in-law, Mitchell Smith.

Lora is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chaz and Bambi Wright; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Tommy Champion; grandchildren, Ethan and Amanda Wright, Caden Wright, Jessie Champion, Jordan Sutton, and Ora Taylor; great-grandchildren, Maddox Sutton and Wesson Taylor; sisters, Lavada Langford (Ralph Grunz), Sarah McFarland (Steve), Dennie Langford, and Alma Smith; her bonus daughter, Michelle Brody. Lora is also survived by a beloved aunt, many cousins, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to her former daughter-in-law and her husband, Tara and Larry Ballew for all the love and care.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Lora Ruth.
