Little Lakelynn
Elizabeth Grace Simmons
May 23, 2026 — Jul 29, 2026
Chatsworth
Little Lakelynn Elizabeth Grace Simmons, 2 months, of Chatsworth, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at her home.
Lakelynn was truly our angel on earth. From the moment she took her very first breath, she completely stole our hearts. She was our light in this often-dark world, filling our days with love, joy, and hope.
She loved her naps and could spend hours gazing into her mommy's eyes. She had the sweetest smile, the chubbiest cheeks, and a personality that was already beginning to shine. She wanted so badly to talk, and if she could have, she surely would have talked your ear off. Lakelynn loved to make all kinds of little noises as she discovered her voice, and to us, it was the most beautiful sound in the world.
During her time here, Lakelynn experienced the simple but priceless gifts of life: wrapping her tiny fingers around Mommy and Daddy's hands, countless hugs and kisses from her family, and hearing "I love you" more times than words could ever count. She was the sweetest little girl, deeply loved and endlessly cherished.
Lakelynn especially loved taking evening walks outside with her Pawpaw in the cool breeze. Many evenings, she could be found peacefully curled up in the loving arms of her Lovey and Poppy, surrounded by the people who adored her.
Though our hearts ache beyond measure and we will miss her every day, we find comfort and peace in knowing that Lakelynn is now safely in the arms of Jesus. While her time with us was far too short, the love she gave and the joy she brought will remain in our hearts forever.
She was preceded in death by her great-papaw, William Simmons, and lots of other family members that helped welcome her into heaven.
Survivors include her loving parents, Cory Isaiah Stanley and Elizabeth Summer Simmons of Chatsworth; her grandparents, Bruce and Melinda Simmons, Lamar and Kayla Brackett, Dustin Stanley, and Heather Stanley; her great-grandparents, Robert and Lisa Leamon, Don and Christy Crider, Shawn and Rick Mulkey, Sandra Simmons, Joyce and Tony Bowen, and Donnie and Dianna Brackett; her great great-grandparents, John and Debbie Suttles; and her special great-aunt and great-uncle, Jennifer and Kerry Culp; many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
