Mr. Leon Brooks, age 75 of Dalton, GA, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Brooks; mother, Martha Simmons.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Brooks of Dalton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Christy and Stephen Newport of Dalton, GA, Jessica and Cody Price of Crandall, GA, and Trisha and Ronnie Beavers of Chatsworth; brothers and sister-in-law, Vernon Brooks of Dalton, GA, Robert Simmons of TN, and Sonny and Shelia Brooks of Dalton, GA; sister, Zelda Long of Whitwell, TN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; extended family also survive.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Leon Brooks will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Smith and Rev. Sam Randolph officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
